Denim is by far the staple in any man’s wardrobe that is trendy, stylish and comfortable at the same time. Markets are covered with many different varieties of denim pants from skinny to baggy and different designs styles to choose from. Everyone would prefer to buy the correct pair of denim that can be styled in many different ways. After all if you are going to spend a decent amount of mula (money) on your denim, it makes sense to take care of them so they can last you a long length of time. In this blog post, you will find 10 very helpful care tips to help you protect your jeans from fading, shrinking and even worse, ripping!
Tip #1: Do not wash your jeans more than twice a week.
Washing denim too often can make them fade out a lot faster than if you only wash them once every week or twice at most. To remedy this issue, it’s best to have either two of the same pairs or just have a few pairs you can rotate between.
Tip #2: Put two tablespoons of salt in water to set the dye.
This is probably one of the most basic/common tips for denim care.
Tip #3: Make sure you set your water temperature to cold and not hot.
You never want to wash denim in hot water. This will speed up the fading process and of course that is what we want to avoid.
Tip#4: If possible, wash the jeans by hand.
